✶About✶

Deep in the Black Shroud, there is a light that doesn't quite belong to the forest. Surrounded by a softly lit garden, a little out of place, there sat Mystica Lunae!An old building that once belonged to a noble Gridanian family, long abandoned and left to the forest to reclaim. Has been renovated and repurposed, turning it into a shop for everything arcane.Inside, it is exactly as strange and wonderful as it looks from the outside. Shelves stacked with alchemical supplies, botanical specimens, astrological charts, grimoires, and many other magical curiosities. At first glance, the shop appears to be run almost entirely by mammets of Sharlayan design going cheerfully, some not so cheerfully, about their business.Then, from somewhere in the back, a gentle voice calls out:"Welcome! How can we be of help?"

Mystica Lunae is a Medium-to-Heavy RP Free Company in Halicarnassus, dynamis, that started as a small group and is ready to expand! We're LGBTQ+ friendly, welcoming to experienced and novice roleplayers alike, and just as glad to have brand new FFXIV players as veterans.We are primarily an RP FC for now, focusing more on personal character plots with one or two FC plots! But we’re more than happy to help out with casual content when needed!Our approach to lore is semi-adherent: we respect the world and work within it, but we're not above bending something if the story calls for it! Within reason, of course!Themes usually are: Slice of life, adventure, morally grey, long-term, and short-term plots.We’re active in both NA and EU-friendly times; some of us do both! But we also understand life has obligations; we’re all adults with lives. IRL always comes first.English doesn't have to be your native language; we're all from non-English speaking countries, we just love writing.The shop is preparing to open for public RP! But you’re not obligated to attend on open nights! It’s completely optional.

✶Who we want✶

  • The themes for this FC, while mostly slice of life, but we touch on dark themes and mature topics. We will put trigger warnings in the heavier ones. But we do expect our members to be able to handle such themes. And preferably be 18+ in age.

  • As mentioned before, we're semi lore adherent, we bend the lore if need be, but within reason, FFXIV's lore is vast, and we discover more and more each patch. Creativity is a wonderful thing, but there should be standards. We'll gladly work with you and brainstorm ideas that you'll like and have fun with, that also fit the FC.

  • Being a native English speaker is not mandatory, as said, most of our members aren't, but we do expect some effort with spelling and grammar.

  • AI use for RP is strictly prohibited. We'd rather have a few typos than AI slop.
